The solving of the problem of the Four Working Styles is the foundation of solving all other problems existing in the Chinese Communist Party. In a word, it becomes an urgent work to remedy the problem of the Four Working Styles and strengthens the construction of the working style in Chinese Communist Party.On June 8th, 2013,The Chinese Communist Party’s Mass Line Education Practice was held in Beijing, and in this conference the concept Four Working Styles was put forward, which actually refers to formalism, bureaucratism, hedonism and extravagant behaviors existing in the Chinese Communist Party. President Xi pointed out that in order to maintain the advanced and pure natures of the Chinese Communist Party, serving, pragmatism, and honesty must be used as operation principles. Based on this kind of social background, the present dissertation applies many kinds of methods, such as document resulting, qualitative analysis, contrastive analysis,and connection between theory and practice to analyzing the phenomena of formalism, bureaucratism,hedonism and extravagant behavior existing in the Chinese Communist Party. The present thesis has made a brief literature review of the rectification movements during the party-building initial period and early years of the new nation, the working style constructions since the Third Plenary Session of the 11 th Central, and the remedies to the Four working Styles since the 18 th CPC National Congress. It has revealed the importance of working against the Four Working Styles, summarized the experiences in working against the Four Working Styles, and contemplated on sustainable accesses to the working against the Four Working Styles, which provided good examples to future work.The present dissertation is composed of five sections.The first section serves as an introduction of the dissertation, giving a general idea of the theory background, current background, significance, organization, and researching methods of the dissertation, probing the instrutive meaning of the remedying to the problem of the Four Working Styles.The second section is about the related theory and literature review about the problem of the Four Working Styles.
