Research On The Criminal Law Protection Of Citizens Personal Information In Our Country

With the development of science and technology, personal information has been widely spread.Furthermore, it has been a tool to make profits by people with ulterior motives.With the aid of modern information technology, citizens’ personal information can be collected massively and broadened to all walks of life.In fact,it is an infringement of citizens’ rights,which becomes rampant.People with ulterior motives own various means to invade personal information.Even though regulators take the civil and administrative sanctions to punish them, but the effect is not obvious, only to through the legal interventions.At present, laws and regulations on personal information security has been clearly protected, but there are a lot of blank in execution.Firstly, this paper defines the concept of citizens’ personal information based on the literature.Moreover,the author anlyzes the present situation and reasons of present protection of citizens’ personal information.Finally, the author put forward suggestions on protection citizens’ personal information by draw lessons from the successful experience of the citizens’ personal information protection at home and abroad.
