The Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee decided to shift the focus of the work of the Party and the State to economic modernization program. It marked that China entered a new period of development of the cause of socialism. At the early stage of Reform and Opening-up, the Communist Party of China combined Marxist Fundamental Principles with China specific circumstances. From then on, it made through the leap of Marxist Sinicization again and blew away the hazes around China. In order to avail the theory of Marxist Sinicization to guide the reform and construction, Marxism theory education played an important role in setting up the Marxism statues in the field of ideology.Marxism theory education in the early stage of Reform and Opening-up includes four parts. Firstly, settling things to rights in the ideological field, and then discussing on the Standard of Truth, Carrying out Four Cardinal Principles education, these courses reestablish the ideological line of seeking truth from facts. Secondly, during the process of economic construction and reform, the Party launched the education of Primary Stage of Socialism and Basic Guiding Principal, the Essence of Socialism, the market economy and the “Three Standards of Benefiting”. Thirdly, in the Construction of Socialist Spiritual Civilization, carrying out the strategic decision of Patriotic education, promoting Spiritual Civilization by literature, news and media. Fourthly, from preliminary exploration, it forms the basic outline of the Marxist theory of education and creates a new situation of Marxist theory.Marxist theory education in the early stage of Reform and Opening-up has distinct characteristics, and makes remarkable achievement in two areas of innovation theory and practice development. It enriches the Marxist theory of education resources, consolidates the guiding position of Marxism in the ideological field, integrates a variety of social thoughts, and improves the Party’s ability to resist risks.The basic experience and contemporary value on Marxist theory education in the early stage of Reform and Opening-up are regarded as the important support of scientific understanding and evaluation of education in Marxist theory. On one hand, not only allows us to recognize the importance of inheriting Marxist theory education in the new social practice, but also provides important ideological resources to deepen the development of Marxist theory of education in the new situation. On the other hand, it provides important reference for our socialist modernization and realizing the great dream of China.
