With the extensive spread of life-long education, the form of learning has changed at different degree, thus informal learning has aroused general concern. Studies have shown that80%or more of knowledge acquired at work was from informal learning; more importantly, knowledge gained by informal learning was more valuable, and the learning effect was obvious. Information technology has provided an efficient and convenient way for informal learning. The virtual learning community, as an online environment, with characteristics of equality, openness and real exchange, can provide a favorable environment for informal learning and promote it better. But most of the existing virtual learning communities built by specialized education organizations or training institutions were main as a teaching assistant platform, can’t be entirely suitable for the needs of informal learning, and didn’t adequately reflect the functions and values of virtual learning community. Based on this, this study focuses on the construction of informal learning community, so to promote informal learning better in online environment.In this paper, a framework model of informal learning community in Web2.0environment was proposed based on relevant theories and Web2.0concepts and technical services. Then on the basis of model, an informal learning community was designed and constructed. At last, the application effects in this platform were evaluated.This article was divided into six chapters, research background, current situation, research significance, research contents and methods were introduced in Chapter I of exordium; Chapter II was summary of relevant theories, in which relevant concepts were defined and related theories were combed. The meeting point of Web2.0, informal learning, virtual learning community was found, and a framework model of informal learning community in Web2.0environment was proposed based on relevant theories and principles in Chapter Ⅲ. Chapter IV was for the design and implementation of community, the functional module of informal learning communities in the Web2.0environment was designed, then a learning community was constructed based on the functional module. Application and effect evaluation after surveyed for trial users were analyzed in Chapter V; the main research results and deficiencies were summarized, and the next step of research work was proposed in Chapter VI.
