President Hu jin-tao said " adhering to the orientation of advanced socialist culture, rising a new upsurge in the development of socialist cultural, stimulating the whole country’s cultural creativity, improving the country’s cultural soft power." It’s known that If a country wants to live in the true sense of eternity, only have material wealth is not enough, itand military might is not enough, it should also have a noble spirit of the wealth and abundant human resources; in other words, under the condition of international, only the people have a high quality of education, can ensure the country won’t lost in the complicated international competition. Therefore, if a country wants to be a powerful one, education plays a very important role.Cultural soft power is a kind of material that we can’t see, so it hardly have any sensation about it, if we want to develop it we should get a vector that is education. Educational soft power is that we promote the development and dissemination of culture through the way of education, so making this culture well-received by more people. Educational soft power has its own internal and external effect. Its internal effect includes the function of sliming, adsorption, pointing and Inheritance; while its external effect includes the function of justice, beyond and radiation. As the strongest in the modern world, the U.S. has the most powerful hard power as well as soft power. Therefore, it’s the core of the world education culture soft power, which can be traced from education. The U.S. government is playing a more and more important role in the construction and exporting soft power by way of educational subsidiary, aboard visiting, cooperation and so on, in the hope of disseminating "democracy, freedom, equality and universal fraternity", then to construct an invisible but strong defensive frontier.The construction of educational soft power in the U.S tells us that we should adhere to national cultural values and take it as the principles of construction of our educational soft power; we should improve cultural productive force and take it as the core of our educational soft power; besides these, we should pay more attention to the development of educational soft power, give more money to the field of education, opening up educational soft power aboard, so as to let China become a country with strong soft power during a short time.
