Field survival training courses originated in World War II.The German KurtHann put forward the survival training idea, and he founded the world’s first survivaltraining schools in1941, and it was emulated by many countries later. So themilitary and combat effectiveness had a great upgrade. After World War II, thisoutdoor survival training was widely disseminated.Field survival training courses teaching is more complex than traditionalphysical education. It is not only physical education teachers teach students to run,jump, climb, climb, investment, and other basic skills, but also teaches people howto properly handle, anticipate and avoid danger, to protect themselves to save others’lives and property, to improve survival ability when facing the natural disasters andother accidents. Therefore put forward higher requirements for physical educationteachersField survival training course is a new course. It is in full compliance with the“University and College Physical Teaching Guidelines” promulgated in August2002by the Ministry of Education. It explicitly pointed out that when the local conditionsdevelop and use a variety of curriculum resources is the important ways forcurriculum construction and to make full use of the air, sunlight, water, river, river,lake, sea, beaches, fields, forests, mountains, grasslands, wilderness and otherconditions. It expands the more basic teaching contents such as run, jump, cast,climb, crawl, cross which was competitive in the traditional physical educationcourses, into the society and nature. It is not only the reform of traditional sportsteaching mode, but also the innovative concept of physical education. It is not onlymeet the development trend of modern physical education curriculum reform, butalso enrich and improve the teaching of physical education curriculum content. Itexpands the physical education curriculum reform to keep the development of newareas.This research is to carry out a survey of the field survival training courses ofsome colleges and universities in Nanchang. It is found that there sure only somecolleges and universities opened a field survival training courses in Nanchang. Setby some colleges and universities in Nanchang, field survival training courses,syllabus, venues and equipment, the situation of teachers and students to learn andaffect field survival training course factors. It proposes appropriate countermeasures for the problems from all angles because field survival training course is at the trialstage and lack of theory and practice guidance. In this paper, it used the literaturesurvey, interviews, statistics and logical analysis ways to make a comprehensiveanalysis of the courses design, syllabus, venues and equipment, the level of physicaleducation teachers and students learning and curriculum evaluation in the fieldsurvival training course teaching of some colleges and universities in Nanchang anddrawn seven conclusions. It reaches ten recommendations for further expanding theNanchang universities to carry out the sustainable development of the field survivaltraining courses teaching.
