Thirty years of reform and opening up with the advent of a multipolar world,theera of economic globalization, China’s higher education change from the original eliteeducation to popular education.The popularization of higher education to promotevocational and technical education presents an unprecedented momentum ofdevelopment,vocational education can be said that from scratch,the educational strengthfrom weak to strong.It can be said that the higher vocational education has become animportant new force in higher education.However,in development at the same time weshould also be soberly aware that,with the deepening of reform and opening up ofhigher education in vocational colleges,including student growth environment ofdiversity and complexity,on the one hand,we have imported from the West science andtechnology,information technology and management experience for vocational studentsto understand the world,increase knowledge,improve quality,and to broaden theirhorizons a lot of convenience;on the other hand,the Western ideology andculture,values,way of life in various forms in filtrated stirring, multi-culturalinformation, diversification opportunities and risks of social development,vocationalstudents in the thinking of the political beliefs confused, distorted value orientation, lackof social responsibility, misconduct, life goal issues.Therefore,the validity of vocationalcolleges, students’ political education to be an in-depth research and development field.This article first defines the meaning of the effectiveness of ideological andpolitical education of students in vocational colleges,and enhanced the validity of thescientific basis of ideological and political education of students in vocationalcolleges.The effectiveness of students’ ideological and political education connotationand correct grasp of the scientific basis,especially to enhance the students’ ideologicaland political education of the effectiveness of connotation and concise,basic theory ofthe ideological and political education and improvement of conducted to furtherexplore.Based on the analysis put forward concrete measures analysis on the basis ofstudents’ ideological and political education to the failure condition,in terms of clearover all goals of the students’ ideological and political education,the content of scientificdesign,team building,environmental optimization, targeted to enhance the effectivenessof students’ ideological and political education initiatives,help to guide the graduateideological and political education practice.
