In twenty-first Century,vocational college students in addition to the need to have the relevant technical skills,professional ethics,ideological and moral,comprehensive quality has become the focus of attention of the enterprise.For the higher vocational colleges,the cultivation of students' professional skills is the good place for the students thought quality,moral education is insufficient.In order to adapt to the development of the times,as well as the requirements of society and enterprises,to cultivate comprehensive high quality talent is imminent.As an important component of higher vocational college students' daily life,student associations is essential,and then become an important measure of higher vocational colleges to strengthen students'ideological education which was making up the short board.This paper from the definition of college student associations of types,characteristics and effects on the current college student association and the function of ideological and political education.Secondly,with the student organization of city of Hunan of Career Academy as an example to carry on the questionnaire survey analysis,the current development of student groups to get,so as to reveal the main problems are:college student association for the community construction is not enough,school support for the community needs to be strengthened,the characteristics of extracurricular activities should be improved,and analysis the cause of the problem from two aspects of subjective and objective.Finally,put forward the strategy of higher vocational colleges to realize the function of ideological and political education of students',associations,including aspects:grasp the direction of development of society the community,strengthen the function of ideological and political education;innovation of community management system,strengthen ideological and political education association;prominent agency group activities,and to enhance the effectiveness of the ideological and political education of the community.
