Childhood plays an significant role in one’s lifetime, during which the education peoplereceived has an enduring influence on their hole life. In childhood, people’s thoughts,acknowledge ment,the outlook of the world and value are shaped. The education of children tiesto the fortune and prospect of a family, a nation and a country. Therefore, all sectors of societyhave attached great importance to the education for children. After the reform and opening up tothe outside world, comrade Deng Xiaoping has put forward a slogan-education starts fromchildren,which emphasizes children’s early education.The Ministry of education started the New Curriculum Reform of basic education in2011.The new curriculum emphasizes curriculum culture, and strive to the course of life, strengthenthe flexibility of curriculum, curriculum integration, emphasize the cultivation of innovationability, develop school-based courses. Some of the new curriculum in the then emerging, moreinclined to the cultivation of children’s practice and practical ability, cultivate the spirit ofinnovation. People pay more attention to humanistic spirit and life skills training course.Nowadays, China home economics research has been rapid development. At the same time, thestage of basic education has also appeared in the home education of children.Basic education of today not only to teach children knowledge, but also should to teachthem how to lead a better life, With the reforming of the current curriculum and CharacterBuilding Education, home economics education is quietly on the rise in Chinese continent,which plays an important role in children’s learning life skills and socialization.Focusing on the domestic education on children’s socialization, this dissertation usessociological theories of socialization, describes influencing factors of children’s HomeEconomics Education, countermeasures to develop Home Economics Education. The full text isfalls into the following five parts:The first part: Introduction. Pointed out the direction for the study of this paper, this partmainly includes research origin, research content, definition of related concepts and the researchpurpose, significance and method.The second part: Literature Review. This part includes the relevant research of homeeconomics education and socialization,which laid the theoretical foundation for the study of roleof home economics education on children’s socialization.The third part: Role of Home Economics Education on Children’s Socialization. As themain part of this paper, this part mainly describes home economics education content, the necessity to implement the function of children home economics education, home economicseducation on children’s socialization.The fourth part: Factors Affecting Children’s Come Economics Education. The partanalyses the factors influencing children’s home economics education from the angle ofeducation system, weakness of school management, the lack of parents’thought.The fifth part: Suggestions to promote children’s home economics education. This partproposes some countermeasures to promote children’s home economics education, such as thechange of concept, system, teachers team construction, home school cooperation etc.
