Investigations And Researches Conducted To The Square Dance In Lanzhou City

Recent years, with the development of society and improvement of people’s life,more and more people began to rouse the awareness of fostering body. The squaredances, with the purpose of keeping fit and entertaining, is a mixture of sports andalso a kind of sports which can cater to people of different tastes. With the specialmusic backgrounds and easy dance, the square dances can make people realize thegoal of keeping fit and at the same time, releasing their pressure. People can dancewith the music and in the process of performing dance, the flexibleness of people’sbody is improved and every joint of people’s body is strengthened. The square danceis welcomed by many people for its special charm.This thesis is aiming at researching the square dances in Lanzhou city and withthe help of materials, questionaries, and statistics,the author conduct a investigation tothe current situation and existing problems of the square dances in Lanzhou city. Aftera series of research work, the author draw a conclusion.1) the participants of thesquare dances in Lanzhou are differ in their age, gender, and educationbackgrounds.2)the time of performing square dances is fixed;3)no one organize thesquare dances but it happens rather spontaneously.4) the participants have lowconsumption level.5) the lacking of professional guidance is the main obstacle thatrestrict the development of square dances.6)the square dances in Lanzhou city neededwell organization and standard management.7) people are not so active in taking partin square dances competition which are mainly due to the shortage of money and theless attention paid by the local government. In order to solve those problems,suggestions will be give the following:1)to make square dances known by morepeople.2)built several sports communities.3)give play to the talent of coached ti guidepeople.4) improve the facility of the playgrounds.5)pay attention to the competitionof square dances.
