Course materials are the most important resources for the implementation ofclassroom teaching, it reflects the changes in the law of development of teaching materials,shaping students’ values. Ideological and political are reflected the will of the party and thestate, each change of the teaching materials are developed in order to highlight the needsand spirit of the times. Junior high school students are at a critical transition period,in-depth study of the ideological and political teaching of junior high school period, couldhelp students to lead an active and healthy life, help students to train scientificvalues,outlook on life and world,conducive students to adhere to the correct guidance andthe independent of thinking and actively practice get united, help to stimulate learningenthusiasm and sense of innovation to be a responsible citizen.Junior high school political textbook (PEP)has undergone several major changessince the reform and opening in1978,course has got increases and decreases, this paperbased on the analyzes of the status of material researches, combined with the changes inteaching materials, with the use of empirical research to define the five different stages ofpolitical curriculum, summarizes the main changes of textbook content; through literatureresearch and comparative study, analyze the differences and relations between before andafter revision, argue the general rules of factors influencing the content changes,inferencethe followed changes; combined with special political, economic, cultural, livelihood,environment and other factors at this stage, positive outlook textbook reform trend. Thespecific logical structure of this paper is as follows:The foreword part are mainly discussed from the development of junior high schooltextbooks of political content in a macro-level study: This section describes the changes inthe content of teaching background; theoretical significance and practical significance;overview of the status of domestic research, clarify feasible and necessity of teachingmaterials.The first chapter describes the curriculum of junior political change and teaching profiles in reform and opening up times. The first section first defines five different stagesof political curriculum, and then introduces political content in reform and opening up.The second chapter is the main part of this paper, overview the reasons for the fivechanges of political: a major change in the content of new curriculum materials, delete thecontent, terms of content and focus of the new features; from young people own change,philosophy of education, examination system, family patterns, the central policy objective,economic social and cultural development, curriculum goals, network development and soon to explain the reason of the change on junior high school political content.The third chapter is the focus and purpose of this article, this sections is the focus forstudies whether the content can provide a useful reference to practice. Firstly, inference thegeneral rules of previous major changes, and then combined with the impact of variousfactors of special political, economic, cultural, livelihood and environment, looking furtherthe development trends of teaching materials.
