| As a key course for cultivating morality and cultivating people,high school ideological and political guidance is its basic function.The new curriculum clearly states that the cultivation of political identity literacy is its core and primary goal,which is related to the growth of students and the determination of ideals and beliefs.Teenagers in high school are quite active in thinking,and ideological and political teachers should guide students to establish a correct political direction and improve students’ ideological and political literacy.It is precisely the natural advantages of novelty,fast dissemination speed and close to students’ lives,which can timely and effectively publicize the principles and policies of the Party and the state,and has become a rich curriculum resource for high school ideological and political courses.It can be seen that the use of current affairs materials in high school ideological and political courses is not only in line with the educational philosophy of the new curriculum reform to promote students’ all-round development,but also an important way to cultivate students’ core competencies of political identity.Based on General Secretary Xi Jinping’s theories such as "running ideological and political theory courses well" and "high school ideological and political courses complement current affairs and politics" stipulated in the new curriculum standards,this paper investigates and analyzes the current situation of using current political materials to cultivate political identity in high school ideological and political courses.Taking political teachers and students of a high school in Luliang City,Shanxi Province as survey and analysis samples,this paper finds from the analysis of the current situation that due to the complexity of current political materials themselves,the lack of teachers’ current political literacy,and the insufficient awareness of students’ subjectivity,there are still major difficulties in teaching practice that the selected political materials are not strongly oriented,teachers’ teaching ability to use current political materials to cultivate political identity is insufficient,and students’ learning of current politics deviates from the goal of political identity.Based on the above problems,this paper takes current affairs materials as an important starting point,starts from the three directions of current affairs materials themselves,teachers’ "teaching" and students’ "learning",and puts forward a series of practical countermeasures on the basis of investigation and research,including innovative screening methods to enrich students’ political cognition,improving teachers’ current political literacy to strengthen students’ political emotions,and encouraging students to consciously participate in political practice,which provides practical reference for how current political materials can better cultivate high school students’ political identity. |
