Along with the historical process of reform and opening up and the city, a largenumber of rural labor force into the city, rural left-behind children immediatelyproduce. In recent years, the left-behind children problem widely concerned bysociety. However, the present study focused on the left-behind children education,mental health and other aspects, and the lack of research in this aspect left-behindchildren participating in sports activities, especially the non school hours of physicalactivity. Sports can not only enhance the left-behind children’s physical quality, moreconducive to the healthy development of their body and mind. Therefore, this papertakes Jiangxi old revolutionary base areas of left-behind children as the researchobject, the research methods of literature, questionnaire survey method,mathematical statistics, logic analysis, on the left behind children in countryside nonschool time, spatial and temporal variation and its impact on physical activitybehavior factors were analyzed.The main conclusions are as follows:1, the old revolutionary base areas of rural primary school sports mainlyconcentrated in the region near the house and village sports center, travel to walkwithin4km, is the most basic of left behind children sports activities, displays in thebehavior space into3layers structure.2, the old revolutionary base areas of rural left behind time in school sportsfeatures: weekend and summer is left behind students participate in sports activitiesin the relatively high percentage of the time, week1and week5non school time isthe lowest; the highest frequency of the summer to participate in sports activities, thewinter is the lowest; morning is the main period of left behind children to participatein sports activities in the evening, is the lowest; the single physical activity durationin about30min of the students.3, the old revolutionary base areas of rural primary school sports behaviorfactors of sports activities, the student age spatial perception, psychological sex differences, left behind, guardian education level, family monthly income and sportscontent etc..Therefore, the study of left-behind children’s guardian, physical educationteachers and the left-behind children their own proposals, aimed at promoting theleft-behind children in non school time to actively participate in sports activities,enhance their physique, make the body and mind are healthy growth.
