Under the old system, CUBA attaches greay importance to cultivate the basketballreferees (including teachers and students). The college students who making love inthe CUBA improve their own ability and level constantly. CUBA is a stage for collegestudents showing thenselves,on the one hand, CUBA has played a great role inpromoting college students’ sports, on the other hand, CUBA as a important supportof national fitness for graduste students. Under the new system, CUBA should paymore attention on cultivating college basketball referees, provide them moreopportunities and platforms of practicing and develop college students’ career.2. Under the old system of CUBA basketball referees are mainly composed of thecollege teachers and students, under the new system of CUBA basketball referees areteachers, supplemented by some referees of CBA and WCBA, consist of internationallevel and national level. The fourteenth and fifteenth CUBA referees are mainlycomposed of national referees,the fourteenth referees are composed of naitonalreferees and class A referees,the fifteenth referees are composed of national andinternational referees, both the two matches imbanlance between men and women.3. In order to cultivate referees’ ability, CUBA Organizing Committee will host thewinter and summer camp, training and testing a new batch of basketball referees,registering part of college teachers and students, providing learning opportunities forthe registering basketball referees, most of them can be assigned to a new session ofthe CUBA League. However, the new system is lack of these measures.4. The old system of CUBA referees on the spot are mainly national and class Areferees, providing a platform for the cultivation of the young referees. However, thenew system of CUBA referees on the spot are mainly national and internationalreferees that impeding the cultivation and development of young referees.5. Through the investigation on the CUBA coaches, most of them think the old systemreferees lack of experience, because they donnot have better psychological quality andthe ability of processing the emergency situations. But the new system referees havefull experience, better psychological quality and the ability of processing theemergency situations. 6. With the CUBA athletes’ technologies continue to improve, the level of competitionhas been improved, but the ability of referees impove slowly. The old system refereesshow the tendency of the young and full of vitality and passion, but young refereesdonot have good psychological quality and the experience in the process of game,handling the problems of the games are slightly immature, but CUBA is a goodexercise platform, through the high level of competitions, the referees exercisethemselves. The new system referees have full experience, better psychologicalquality and the ability of processing the emergency situations, but on the contrary,CUBA as college students own league, it not only cultivate excellent young basketballplayers, but also cultivate excellent young basketball referees. The begginning of anew session of CUBA, made the young referees lack a workout opportunity andpiatform, this is bad for the cultivation of the young. The cultivation of the youngreferees should be paid great attention to the Organizing Committee of the CUBA, asthey provide an opportunity to exercise more and platforms.
