As one of the popular worldwide sports, basketball has gone through more than a hundred of years ofself-development and promotion. It is a pearl of wisdom of all human-beings all over the world. This kindof sports contains the cognition and attitude of judging the beauty to basketball in diverse districts anddifferent eras. Being a mixture of art, culture, economy and politics, basketball plays an important role inthe cultural blending of western culture and eastern culture.Just like NBA, NCAA enjoys a great historyand scale. As a non-profit association that is as popular as NBA, NCAA provides real basketball with suchdiversity to the audience. This is really rare and commendable. There is one thing that must be mentioned, nearly all kinds of areas of NCAA are well developed. Compared with NCAA, CUBA still has a long wayto go. But one thing is sure, CUBA will not copy the whole mode of NCAA, It shall have its unique partwhich must be a spotlight. This thesis is mainly focus on seeking the operating model of NCAA andexploring the future of CUBA in the process of development. I would like to find the distance betweenCUBA and NCAA and come up with some proposals and suggestions to its development by following theobjective regularity at the same time make contributions to the basketball association in china. Here are the solutions from the research.Main conclusions1. NCAA is based on self-management while CUBA is in the charge of Education division andNational General Administration of Sport. It doesn’t have the autonomy in operation. In terms ofAdministration, though CUBA copies the general mode of NCAA, it still has a problem in division andconstitution.2.As for the competition system, CUBA has a tendency to restrict the games in the respective region. Many college teams do not have the chance to participate in the games, let alone play games with teams inother regions. There aren’t much games every year. Conversely, NCAA allows all leagues to play gamesand encourages the communication among them. There is only a restriction of minimum number of teams. 3. With the booming of our economy, the life standard has promoted. At present, we have a largeamount of students who play basketball. That is a enormous market. Regrettably, the society in this bigeconomy can’t provide a good basis to CUBA like that to NCAA.4.The economic basis of CUBA is not at the same level with NCAA.5.To recruit the highly skilled athlete in high school, CUBA lowers the admittance score. So thoseathletes are from the youth team or were admitted by their high school as sports skilled students. They lackthe education. Furthermore, because of the loose management, they don’t accumulate their knowledge asthey ought to. But for the NCAA, there is a demanding requirement of the grade of the athlete who want togo to NCAA.6. CUBA deliver fewer athletes to the professional field. Contradictorily, more than80percent of theNBA players are from NCAA.7.The legal and market system in NCAA are perfect. Though CUBA includes a great number ofplayers, but the legal system still needs promoting and the whole mode is not well developed.
