Studies On The Evaluation Of The Post-80University Students

The post-80university students have become the focus of China society for theparticularity and significance in their development. Through the systematic review ofthe related studies, we can see that the evaluation of the post-80university studentshas experienced a complex and controversial process, during which, the post-80university students have been described from “a Beaten Generation”，“the LostGeneration” to “the Hopeful Generation”. In view of the dramatic contrast, this paperhas presented the developing process of the post-80university students and theiressence, and then analyzed the related evaluations and influencing factors. Not onlythat, this paper has combed the basic contents and the contemporary value of theYouth Theory of Marxism systematically, and then indicates that we must adhere toMarxism, grasp the important points of Historical Materialism, and persevere in usingthe Marxist dialectics. Only in this way, can we get the correct evaluation of thepost-80university students.The Youth Theory of Marxism, founded by Marx and Engels, developed by Leninand Stalin, enriched during the process of Chinization of Marxism, has become acomprehensive theory system. As the part of Marxist philosophy of the world, theYouth Theory of Marxism is the guide of youth study and the ideological weapon ofthe youth education. This theory has substantial content, in which the youth’ statusand role, youth’ characteristics and needs, youth’ education are all well illustrated.The Youth Theory of Marxism provides a theoretic foundation for the study of youth,as well as a methodological principle, at the same time, it also points out the directionof the evaluation research and the ideological education of youth.Currently, the socialist cause with Chinese characteristics is in a critical period ofdevelopment, and the reform and opening up policy is going through the most crucialstage, resulting in a greater change of people’s values and behavior. Growing upunder such influence, the youth, as the best reflect of the times and social changes,present more new problems that need to be specifically and deeply analyzed by us. In this context, we should always uphold the Youth Theory of Marxism, treating youthwith a scientific attitude, using the Marxist stand, viewpoint and method to study theyouth matters, conducting youth education proceeding from their actual conditions.These steps offer the best chance for us to evaluate the youth correctly and tech themactively, finally train them into the builders and successor of the socialist cause.
