Although students are the core user group of course websites, the existing studieson online education mainly focus on technical problems and teachers’ acceptance ofon-line teaching. Only a few researches have covered the intention to use and usagebehaviors of students, most of which are concentrating on students’ acceptance ofdistance education. The behavioral intention and behaviors of school students towardscourse websites, especially the English course websites seldom come into the view ofresearchers.Based on TAM, the thesis has proposed the hypothesis factors of behaviors ofcourse websites by university students. With the questionnaire on English coursewebsites formed with adjusted TAM scale (Davis,1989), the researcher has conducteda survey on400student participants in the training of English imitation writing inHunan University. At last, the author analyzed and explained the elements and path ofthe questionnaire. The results are as follows:1. The research result indicates that,9variables in the hypothesis havesignificant influence on students’ use of the course website, they are: subjectivenorms, task relevancy, Information of website, computer self-efficacy, entertainmentof website, perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, attitude towards the workshopwebsite and students’ behavioral intention on the website; while computer anxiety inthe hypothesis has no significant influence on the workshop website.2. Research results show that the ways of research variables contributing tostudents’ intention of using English workshop website are mainly divided into directinfluence and indirect influence. According to the path analysis, it can be found outthat attitude directly influences behavioral intention; perceived usefulness influencesbehavioral intention in two approaches, the first one is that perceived usefulnessdirectly functions on behavioral intention; the second one is that perceived usefulnessindirectly influences behavioral intention through influencing attitude; the variableperceived ease of use indirectly influences behavioral intention through influencingperceived usefulness and attitude respectively; variables task relevancy, informationof website and subjective norm indirectly influences behavioral intention throughinfluencing perceived usefulness; computer self-efficacy and entertainment indirectlyinfluence behavioral intentional through influencing the perceived ease of use. 3.According to result of analysis, The direct impact of subjective norm onperceived usefulness is0.178, which is that one additional unit of subjective normleads to a corresponding increase of0.178units of perceived usefulness; The directimpact of information of the website on perceived usefulness is0.288;The directimpact of task relevancy on perceived usefulness is0.305. The direct impact ofcomputer self-efficiency on perceived ease of usefulness is0.321,The direct impact ofentertainment of the website on perceived ease of usefulness is0.141; The directimpact of perceived ease of usefulness on perceived usefulness is0.560, The directimpact of perceived usefulness on attitude is0.369,The direct impact of perceivedease of usefulness on attitude is0.27,The direct impact of attitudes on BehaviorIntention is0.410, and the direct impact of perceived usefulness on BehaviorIntention is0.233.Finally, the researcher concludes the thesis of user behavior towards coursewebsite based on TAM theory. Suggestions are proposed for development of specificcourse center based on empirical study. Moreover, theoretical value and drawbacks ofthis thesis are discussed with the research orientation put forward for the future.
