With the reform and opening up and economic globalization, economic ties between China and the world more closely in this process, the spread of Western consumerism to Chinese thought. Under the influence of Western consumerism thought, some people began to show through the consumption of their own identity, status as a symbol of the consumer, an essential false demand, consumption and the "need" and "use value" mutual departure, consumption has become a means to satisfy human desires, rather than purpose. Consumerism trend mainly reflected the impact of college students in the thinking and behavior of two aspects:on the one hand, mainly in terms of ideology is important symbolic value of consumer attitudes, increasingly one-sided view of happiness, desire unlimited life, advocating competition interpersonal concept, on the other hand, mainly in consumer behavior is comparisons, highlighting conspicuous consumption, luxury consumption, ahead of the increase in consumer behavior, consumer behavior and vulnerability to the impact of mass media, network consumption has become a new trend. The main causes of these phenomena:First, consumer ideologies theoretical characteristics determine its own target more college students to accept and Emotion, identity and other needs of the consumer mindset ideologies fit with college students, college students are also affected by consumer the reason ideologies influence; Second, the external environment in which college students, social media environment, school environment, and family environment and so on.Contemporary college students as a special group, they shoulder the future of our country, determine the fate of the country’s future development, consumer attitudes of college students, and even the whole society consumption countries is of great significance. Therefore, this more social thought from the nature and needs of college students perspective of these two studies, trend analysis consumerism and why students choose to be recognized, resulting in a kind of impact and other issues in college students, college students and proposed boycott of consumerism thought suggestions. Based on the analysis of large amounts of data, I believe, help students to resist the invasion of consumer ideologies must be from the following aspects:First, strengthen self-education college, and understand the relationship between consumption and identity, the right to face their own the existence of psychological needs, the ability to distinguish right and wrong, and rational choice capability; Second is to strengthen ideological and political education of college students; Third, actively cooperate with the external environment, including social force, family and other aspects of factors.
