The Middle school history teaching design is the bridge that connecting the teaching practice and the theories of History, Education, Communication and System science. It is helpful to improve the quality of teaching and learning. This paper introduces the development process, the basic content and the method of operation of the Middle school history teaching design. The Middle school history teaching design has experienced three stages like the start, the rapid development and the prosperity. It’s basic content including definition, theoretical foundation and basic elements. It has three principles as systemic, student-oriented and interesting. It also has four operating steps like analyzing the learners, making the teaching target, choosing the instructional strategies and setting the teaching evaluation.
