Junior Maths Action Research Summary On Weekends

The most important and key point of improving quality of teachingmathematics is students’ effectively study. For junior school students, learningmathematics is not only from classroom, but more from after school homework andreview. Teacher should pay more attention to their after school learning.20years of teaching, practice for ten years, weekend summary of mathematical ismy starting point. After two years of action research, under the guidance ofmathematical constructivism learning theory and mathematical understanding ofmacro-level research model, Following I discuss two problems: First, how to make themathematics weekend summary to be the important part of the middle school studentsmathematics study. Second, how to improve junior school students’ understanding ofmathematics with weekend learning. Through comparative surveys, interviews, andresearch methods such as surveys, through a series of study cycle of planning,implementation, feedback, reflection, solving mathematical summary on weekends"how to write" and "what to write" questions, make weekend summaries reallybecomes an important part of student learning. By doing math weekend summary,changing student "and so on and on, and seek support " way to learn, master, activelyconstruct their own mathematical cognitive structure, and improve students ’mathematical understanding level.The result shows that mathematics weekend summary is an effective method oflearning. Based on the traditional teaching, no high strength training, students becomemore active to establish their own acknowledge system, and have better understandingof mathematics. Through mathematics weekend summary, the relationship betweenteacher and students become closer and more interactive, which also creating a moreharmonious and democratic learning environment.
