Study On Current Status And Strategies Of Amateur Field Events In China

As the nationwide fitness campaign flourishes, the amateur field events are boosting as well.Under such circumstances, the field events as the basic of all sports are the easiest, the mosteconomic and the most efficient fitness methods. As a result, amateur field events not only canstimulate people to take part in the sports, but also can offer a platform to spread the nationwidefitness campaign. What’s more, amateur field events are able to make people know more aboutfield events, which can urge the development of field events and then chinese sports.Considering the negative status quo of amateur field events in China, this context dedicates tothe research of chinese amateur field events and puts forward corresponding strategies to theexiting problems in field events. Besides, this context expects to provide support for governmentto implement the amateur field events, which will make a realistic differences to thedevelopment of amateur field events in China.This context employs the relevant knowledge of governmental public performanceassessment, and combines the literature, questionnares, research, mathematical statistics andlogical analysis to study the amateur field events in China. The study is based on the domesticand international results, and further discusses the conception of amateur field events in China.The context also investigates the classification, stutas quo, campaign concept, project settings,style of race, incentive scheme, organization management, fund management, facilitiesmanagement, promotion, legislation and benefits of the events. In addition, this paper expoundsthe current situation of amateur field events in China, based on the governmantal performanceassessment, and then proposes corresponding strategies to the exiting problems in field events.In view of above study, the context draws following conclutions: considering theperspective of amateur and profession, international study of field events is a little, however,domestic study is little. Thus, the paper emphasizes on the problems in chinese amateur fieldevents and defines the amateur field events as non-professional athletes take part in the officialor non-official sport events in their spare time. The events must be aimed at the nationwidefitness and the development of field events and must have scale and influence. Over the courseof studies, following is the problems in chinese amateur field events: firstly, event sites are toocentralized to expand. Secondly, event settings ignore the need of general public. And otherproblems such as: organization mamagement, lack of funds, shortage of governmental support,scarcity of promotion, imperfect rules and regulation, indefinite work performance and benefit. This article analyzes the main problems and brings the suggestion to deal with them, such as:advancing specific governmental responcibilities, planning long-term development objectives,perfecting the event settings, strenthening the event attraction, robusting the organization system,increasing the cooperation of media, enlarging promotion, completing correlative rules andregulations, suppling institution security, establishing blamless system of performanceassessment, and reasonable evaluating the results and benefits of events.
