With the deepening of reform in the era and the reform of basic education, the gap between theteachers’ quality and the demands of education development are becoming increasingly prominent. Theconstruction of teachers’ in our country is changing from quantity expansion to quality improvement, themajority of teachers must constantly improve their professional abilities, improve profession accelerate thepace of development to adapt to the development of Education requirements under the new situation.Through the theory and practice of teachers’ professional ability conducted a comprehensive studiesand researches, I found that the professional ability of teachers’ have fruitful research results, but all theseresearch productions are lack of attention to the teachers’ subject value, ignoring the initiative to studyteachers’ professional ability, resulting in the passive situation of teacher professional development.This study with the teachers’ professional ability enhancing and developing as the foothold, whichmade a “re-cognition” and analyzes the meaning of teachers’ professional ability as the ability competenceof teachers in the formation and development of teacher’s education activities engaged in the process ofteaching practice ability. This essay has summarized the elements of teachers’ professional ability whichincludes four aspects, the ability of teaching, the ability of teaching reflection, the ability of educationalresearch and the ability of educational management. Also, has summarized the particularity, variability,development, creativity and other characteristics. On this basis, this essay has taking lots of teachers formboth of primary and secondary schools in Xinxiang city as the research object, the investigation are on theirbasic information and the status of professional ability competence. Through the analysis of the collecteddata and information, I have pointed the way to improve the professional ability and development strategiesof the teachers which come form the primary and secondary school. Come up with standardize teachers’management system, promote long-term development of teachers’ occupation ability; build a completesystem of knowledge, enhance to promote teachers’ occupation ability; focus on training teachers’ teachingrecollection ability, to optimize the evolution thread of teachers’.
