| Among the large amount of Chinese classics, people always pay a lot of attention to“Zhuangziâ€. It is not only a philosophical work that has an insight into universe, affairs andthe mystery of human life, it is also of a high literary value. In the history of Chinese culture,“Zhuangzi†has a far-reaching influence, moreover, we can still learn something from it tonowaday society and life. Based on this cognition, this article mainly focuses on theapplication value of “Zhuangzi†in the field of Chinese teaching in middle school.This article consists of three parts: the first chapter mainly analyzes the present situationof Chinese teaching in middle school and the goal of new curriculum reform. Chineseteaching gives excessive emphasis on characters of exam-oriented education, which neglectsits humanism and students’ overall quality. Although the new curriculum reform has beenrectified in some degree recent years, there is still much space for its development. Chineseteaching reform should be strengthened for the sake of highlighting its own characters.The second chapter mainly emphasizes on the application value of the philosophicalthoughts of Zhuangzi in Chinese teaching in middle school. We believe that Zhuangzi’s viewof nature, equality of things, theory of life and enthusiasm for concerning the society canbring some inspiration to the Chinese teaching in middle school. It should be the best methodfor correcting the absence of human spirit and fickleness caused by utilitarianism of society ifonly we can introduce some thoughts of Zhuangzi.The third chapter mainly shows the great glamour of “Zhuangzi†from the aspect ofliterature and application value in Chinese teaching in middle school. The literariness of“Zhuangzi†is reflected in the fable, which has a unique feature from three aspects: the firstone is fantastic imagination, the second one is bold use of rhetorical devices and the third oneis poetic expression. These three aspects are classic in the history of Chinese culture that canbe served as a model in Chinese teaching in middle school.In a word, Chinese teaching in middle school needs to reveal its humanity under thesituation of new curriculum reform, and the humane connotation has become the importantcontent in Chinese teaching in middle school. The unique literature performance of“Zhuangziâ€, especially its fantastic imagination, bold use of rhetoric devices and poetic expression of philosophical thoughts all accumulated rich experience for later creative writingand certainly is the model of Chinese learning in middle school. |
