As a critical part of high school academic education, Secondary vocationaleducation plays an important role in improving national educational quality, increasingemployment and promoting social harmony and stability. But the current secondaryvocational education faces enormous challenges in shortage of funds, lack of students,difficulties of student employment and a series of severe test. To solve the problems, Itneeds the support of government policy, such as Ministry of National Education in the2004Circular,"Certain Opinions on Further Strengthening of Vocational Education,"pointed out the need to strengthen the construction of backbone teachers, to implementteacher qualification policy, teacher employment policy and continuing education policy.Secondary vocational education should reform and improve internally. From the overallfuture development of vocational education, the positive development of vocationaleducation is imperative, not only for the need of education, but also the long-termdevelopment of society. To develop vocational education it is urgent to develop the sourceof teachers. To solve the source of teachers, we should take the great advantage of thecurrent conditions in schools, improve teacher incentives and explore the subjectiveinitiatives of teachers to achieve rapid development of secondary vocational education.Based on the research of domestic and foreign teachers on incentive theory, throughthe combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods, the current workanalyses the main factors of impacting the teacher incentives and job satisfaction from sixdimensions, such as the work environment, salary, school management, personaldevelopment, value realization and performance appraisal. R secondary vocational schoolteachers are subjected for the study, through local surveys to understand the currentsituation and problems of school teacher incentives. Teachers in R secondary vocationalschool have low work satisfaction, and problems such as idealization, subjectification,change one-sidedly, simplification exit in teacher motivation, which adversely affectschool development. In view of these problems and their causes, a deep analysis wasmade by enhancing the leaders’ understanding and transformation of teacher motivation,extracting inducing factors of teacher motivation, building and improving scienctific andeffective teacher motivation mechanism, and carrying out the mechanism. Bising on theanalysis, measures to improve teacher motivation in R secondary vocational school wereproposed.Through the optimization study of the incentive mechanism of R secondaryvocational school teachers, to explore the existing problems and deficiencies of secondary vocational education teacher incentive mechanism and makeimprovements, it has profound practical significance for the healthy development ofvocational education in China.
