Causes Of College Students’ Religious Belief And The Research On Education And Guidance

Under the complicated social environment and the background of diverse culture, in recent years the number of students which have religious beliefs in colleges and universities gradually increased.As college students, they not only shoulder the task of technological innovation and scientific research, but also bear the glorious mission that the country and the people give them together. That is to say, they need to make full use of their intelligence so that they can make contribution to the construction and development of socialism. This is why we say their beliefs and the tendency of their beliefs means so much to the development of our country. The beliefs of young college students are related to the direction of their personal growth and development, and also related to the fate of our country and the success or failure of socialist cause with Chinese characteristics. Understand and study the current situation of university students’religious beliefs, analysis the in-depth causes, explore the reasonable and effective guiding methods is the severe challenges and difficult task which the current ideological and political education in colleges and universities is facing. Conforming to the development trend of the times and the requirement of the development of the ideological and political education in colleges and universities, this paper studied deeply combining with the reality of the current university students’religious beliefs. This paper will be divided into three parts:firstly, to summarize the present situation of the university students who have religious beliefs in the current by referencing to the existing research data, including the meaning related to religious beliefs and the basic situation of college students’ religious beliefs. Secondly, attempt to analyze the reason of college students’ religious beliefs from several aspects including the social environment, family influence, and the function of religion itself, the transmission of religion and education of school in order to better provide basis for college to educate and guide.Third, combined with the practical needs of the development of college students and ideological and political education, according to the causes of college students’religious beliefs, this part put forward to some guiding path such as guiding the students to establish Marxist view of religion, strengthen the education of Party’s religious policy, help students to master religious knowledge, evaluate and understand correctly the positive factors of religious culture and enrich the spiritual world of students by campus culture which is deep inside.
