Evaluations play very important role on learning activities, while test is the primary way toevaluate students’ achievement. The traditional test with pen and paper, just providing teachers and studentswith grades, makes it difficult for students to see clearly the mastering condition of the knowledge points,and on the other hand, it’s also conducive for teachers to give students individualized guidance. It will bevery significative for teachers and students if one can present the test result of students by the way ofvisualization. This is a research aiming at the academic attainment of middle school students based onknowledge map, in order to make the test result of students more meaningful and provide it to teachers andstudents.First of all, this research summarizes the research status of knowledge maps and academicattainment level both at home and abroad, and it makes knowledge space and data visualization etc. astheoretical support, while JavaScript and Struts etc. as technical support, and then it makes need analysis aswell as function analysis of system, at last it develops “Academic Attainment Test System of MiddleSchool Student Based on Knowledge Mapping” including foreground and background program. Theforeground program is used by students to carry out test and view test result, while the background one isused by teachers to add information like books, knowledge points, items, students and view test results ofstudents as well.Secondly, this research takes the fifth chapter content of physics book published by ShanghaiScience Press for instance, and we also takes the118students of two classes in Grade8in Modern JuniorHigh School of Nanzhao which is located at Henan province in China as research objects, in order to conduct an application study. The main steps of the application includes constructing knowledge map ofone chapter, administrator of the system adding operator information, teachers adding items, studentsconducting test and feeding back of test result. At last, this research takes an investigation about “usingsatisfaction degree of Academic Attainment Test System of Middle School Student Based on KnowledgeMapping” among research objects, for the sake of understanding the real feeling of students after using thetest system, in order to check out the feasibility and validity of this system.The research result indicates that: it’s feasible to apply the “Academic Attainment Test System ofMiddle School Student Based on Knowledge Mapping” to test of chapter content, the application makes thee-learning more plentiful, the test result is more significative for students and teachers, and it’s feasible togeneralize the test system and apply it to the test of chapter content in other courses. The test systemdeveloped in this dissertation makes test result of students more meaningful, and it enriches the applicationform of knowledge map on education as well as the feeding back form of test results, at the same time, itenriches the check form of learning ability of students.
