Market development of mass martial arts events is a process, during which theorganizers market the productions of sports service and resources of intangible assets,develop and operate mass martial arts events in market to achieve economic benefitsthrough varieties of means and certain theory.Because the development of ourcountry’s martial arts industry is still in an initial stage and the market development ofmass martial arts events is still groping forward, we research martial arts events marketdevelopment status and try to recognize the importance and necessity of it. And weconstantly mine the resources and market of market development and attract socialpower’s active participation in mass martial arts events,so as to provide a strong fundguarantee for sustainable development of our mass martial arts events,so as to advancethe cause of mass Wushu development,and so as to work hard for maintaining thesustainable development of mass Wushu event market development,promoting martialarts’ bid process and accelerating our pace towards the sporting nation.In this paper,Through the use of literature, field research, interviews, logicalanalysis, mathematical methods of statistics mass,we take market development of massmartial arts as object analyzing and studying market development of mass martial arts,from which we find some shortages and problems in popular martial arts event marketduring the development of it and propose appropriate measures. Based on the researchand analysis of current situation of mass Wushu event market development, the mainfindings are:1)At present, the general trend of the development of martial arts events is good,but the holding of events is lacking in coherence. Regular holding cities (mainland)ofmass martial arts events mainly gather at "martial arts of township" where there arewide mass basis and rich martial arts resource;and other regular holdingcities(mainland,exclusive of "martial arts of township") mainly concentrate in tourismcities which are rich in natural or historical culture resources;Mass martial arts eventsin Hong Kong, and o area attract people for their special location, rich tourism,entertainment and shopping resources and unique western culture. 2)In the market development process of mass martial arts events,there are manyproblems and shortcoming as follows:People’s awareness as to the significance ofevents market development is insufficient;Events market development relies onderivative resources and government resources badly; People is always ignoring themarket development value of tangible and intangible assets resources; High qualitymarket development talents are in shortage, and specifical management institutions ofevents market development have not been formed; There lacks perfect operationssystem of market development and brand building of events.3)The International Festival of Wushu in Hong Kong especially focus on theirbrand promotion of martial arts events and development of competition resources.Andit appeals more and more martial arts enthusiasts to participating by continuouslyimproving events’ fun, enjoyment and participation, while the popular martial artscompetitions in mainland lack the awareness of brand promotion the raceand count onthe derivative market development resources and government resources too much.4)Wushu Sport Administration Centre of State General Administration ofSports plays an important role in the management, supervision of marital arts events;Events Hosted Sports Bureau and local governments has made enormous efforts infinancing for events, arranging accommodations, transportation, security and so on.And they also has provided a strong guarantee for promotion of mass marital arts,andsuccess and development of events promotion and popularization of Wushu for themasses and events5)Wushu Sport Administration Centre of State General Administration ofSports lacks guidance to the market development of mass martial arts competition,which increases the difficulty of market development for Organizing Committee ofLocal Events and is bad to long-term, stable development of the popular martial artscompetitions.
