Study On The Construction And Visual Communication System Of Chinese University’s Campus Culture

With the diverse culture and various media changing background, thedevelopment of college campus culture has been affected by various elements, themain idea of this essay is to figure out how universities in China can makeimprovements in college campus culture communication through visualcommunication system. For a long period of time,the development of college campusculture has been the center of higher education. To develop reasonable and scientificcolleges’ culture visual methods, visual language and to build up college campus’svisual system including constructing the deep meaning of higher education culture arestill considered as new fields towards the scholars. After analyzing the currentsituation of the development of universities campus culture and visual system inChina, the author has found out the few problems existing in this process such as thecontent being too abstract, the form being mono-specific,the system being inorganized.According to these problems, after discussing the deep meaning of college culture,analyzing the possible reasons of problems in colleges culture communication, theauthor encircles the deep meaning of college culture and tries to figure out therelationship between colleges culture communication and college visual signalssystem. This essay based on scientific and communism theories and the redefinition ofthe meaning of college culture,and using the visual communication theories, aimed atproviding meaningful methods and created the real visual signs, visual languages forcollege campus. It also emphasized the importance of the college culture in realizingChinese dreams and targets at providing appropriate ideas for higher educationdepartment.
