Marxist economics is a complete and scientific system, which includes Marx’s agricultural vocationaleducation thought, which runs through the Marxist ideological discourses on agriculture, education andvocational education hidden in the treasure house of Marxist theory is a precious wealth, is the left heritageto the subsequent theory researchers and practitioners in education. By systematically organize and exploreMarx’s relevant aspects education ideas and principles of agricultural technology personnel training andvocational and use these principles applied to the actual agricultural occupation education development inChina, this is a very meaningful work.Throughout the development of agricultural vocational education since the founding of China, youcan see it already made brilliant achievements, also encountered some difficulties and setbacks. In the earlydays after foundation, our country agriculture vocational education development foundation is weak. Fromthe beginning of the founding to before the1978reform and opening up, which has experienced setbacksof “the great leap forward” in1958-1960and “the cultural revolution” in1966-1976, but with thesuperiority of the basic socialist system in our country, the agricultural vocational education of our countrystill from small to large, develop from nothing. This also laid the foundation for the development ofagriculture and national economy in China at that time, also for the development of agricultural vocationaleducation in China since the reform and opening up. Since Chinese reform and opening up, along with thereform of agriculture, rural areas and education system in our country, also the change of economicdevelopment way in China and the government’s emphasis to the development of agriculturalmodernization, which agricultural vocational education also rose up and obtained the huge development. Since the21st century, with the transformation of economic development pattern is more profound, theagricultural modernization way constantly improve, the society has a higher request to the agriculture, ruralareas and farmers applied talents, and more demand for talent. However the current truths of agriculturevocational education in China are policy support dynamics is insufficient, regulatory oversightorganization redundancy; lack of development funds, inadequate teaching staff construction, and educationsystem is not perfect, teaching thoughts unadoptable and so on. These problems cause cultivate agriculturalskilled personnel cannot meet the market need, cannot effectively conveying skill talent for agriculturaldevelopment at the same time, also caused the waste of education resource.To deal with these problems fundamentally, many theory researchers have studied from multiplelevels. This article is trying to work on Marx’s theory on vocational education and make a sort, based onthese theories to analysis of the history, the present situation and problems of agricultural vocationaleducation in our country, and to the solution of these problems, puts forward some countermeasures andsuggestions.Marx on the related issue of vocational education and the principle can be read from thefollowing aspects:On the one hand, the interpretation on Marx’s discussion of educational issues related to the overalldevelopment of society and the future of people. Marx to develop the facts of capitalism as a starting pointand basis for, along with analysis, it reveals the multiple roles of capitalism to promote the comprehensivedevelopment of man: First, production of the residual value and improve labor productivity requirementsof the average worker must have certain essential proficiency and intensity of labor, which requires acertain degree of education and training; Second, workers with the changes in the industry and capitalaccumulation sometimes absorbed, sometimes being squeezed, which proposed new requirements on manyof the changes in occupational and labor of workers; also, the use of machine to make capital exploitation of workers expanded to women and children, which providing necessary and possible for the combinationof early education with productive labor. But all they are confined within the range of the capitalist modeof production. The capitalist mode of production for the purpose of production of surplus value,determined in the course of the capitalist class oppression and exploitation of workers, and from their owninterest, always put education and development expense of workers and their children. Only under theconditions of socialism and communism, it is able to do better combine education with productive labor.This provides theoretical support for the current vocational education and the reason to use Marxistideology to guide the development of vocational education in Chinese agriculture.On the other hand, the interpretation of Marx vocational education for the future of society and moral,physical and intellectual discourse combine. These classic expositions, for a correct view of the currentdevelopment of China’s agricultural vocational education, also have very important significance.China must adhere to the socialist direction of reform and opening up, the reform and development ofChinese agricultural vocational education is also inseparable from the guidance of Marxism. From ourcurrent reality, China has proposed to take a coordinated development of urban, rural and urban commonprosperity,“new urbanization”. This path is different from the Western model of social development ofcountries and regions, but also from the old traditional Chinese development.“Urban and rural overalldevelopment, urban and rural integration, interactive production city, economical and intensive, livable,harmonious development” is the feature of new urbanization. To achieve this objective, the demand forhighly qualified technical personnel agricultural applications also more urgent, and the development ofagricultural vocational education must also meet this need. Therefore, to take Marxism as the theoreticalbasis of vocational education ideas, adhere to and implement the “people–oriented” concept of scientificdevelopment, scientific development concept as a guide, to provide protection for the development of vocational education in agriculture. At the same time, to deal with government guidance andmarket-oriented relationship. Finally, each agricultural vocational college must be based on the school’sown building, and enhance the level of agricultural vocational education, provide strong support for thepeople of Chinese agricultural modernization.
