| Currently, social and economic development has entered into a new period in ourcountry, with the pace of agricultural modernization accelerated. To rapid the developmentof agricultural economy, it is necessary to train a group of new farmers educated, skilledand well operated. This must rely on vocational education, especially secondary vocationaleducation in agriculture-related specialties. However, the development ofagriculture-related specialties in secondary vocational education is lagging behind, and hasa lot of problems. One of the most prominent problems is the lacking of students, whichrestricted the development of agriculture-related specialties in secondary vocationaleducation severely, and then hinder the process of agricultural modernization. As a majoragriculture province in central China, the positioning situation determines the importanceof the agricultural economy. The development of agriculture presented a hugeskilled-workers demand for agriculture-related professions in secondary vocational schoolsin Jiangxi province cannot meet the demand because of lacking students. Then, lackingenough students has become a constraint in the agricultures development in Jiangxiprovince. So the current situation is: on the one hand,the development of agriculturalmodernization and agricultural economy urgently needed skilled-workers; on the otherhand no one wants to study agriculture-related professions in secondary vocational schools.Resolve the conflicts which constituted by the two aspects become imperative.This thesis clarify the three important concepts definitions of "secondary vocationaleducation "," vocational school "," agriculture-related specialties" firstly,then induce thestudy of abroad on vocational education, secondary vocational education research,vocational agriculture-related specialties development of research, study enrollment invocational agriculture-related issues as well as professional and vocational studies werecarefully combing admissions. Identify the gaps which still exist as a research subject inthis study, and describe the method to use the Institute.Before the formal research topics are discussed, it is necessary to have a generalunderstanding of the background. Based on a large number of detailed data, we were ableto understand the status qua of China’s vocational education, development and enrollmentof China’s agriculture-related specialties, secondary vocational education and thestudents’case of vocational agriculture-related in Jiangxi.What are the factors of enrollment of agriculture-related in vocational schools? Forthe answer to this question, we consider relevant factors can be divided into macro-level and micro level. However, we cannot shake the macro level, and only on the micro-levelefforts could be made to improve the status quo. Based on the validity and beingrepresentative of the sample, we selected the Ganzhou agricultural school for the study,using questionnaires and case interview, from professional setting, faculty, students basiccases, students studying professional wishes, wishes of further education, employmentintention to analyze several dimensions, and finally put forward relevant suggestions.Finally, we believe that this study is effective and meaningful. Through analysis of thesurface and the point, as well as from the point and the surface of the promotion, in orderto provide inspiration and reference for enrollment in vocational agriculture-relatedspecialties Jiangxi province and even the country. |
