The state student model is compatible with the certain historical conditions and thenational economy level, it has also gone through a long process of evolution, andeventually formed a mixed funding model with Chinese characteristics.This paper based on the current practice of the state student model inChina,treating surveying and analysing the empirical materials as the breakthroughpoint, combined with the representative foreign university student models to provide thethe student model of our country with reference to improve the model.This paper introduces the college student pattern evolution of our country, currentmixed funding model concept of our nation, and specific measures of college studentand Chinese college student theoretical foundation firstly. Then, taking NantongShipping College as an example, questionnaire, interviews and access to the relevantaccount information to part of the students and the teachers brings large amount offirst-hand information based on which the constitution of poverty students, attitudes ofteachers and students,the execution of poor student’s subsidy policy,the influence ofsubsidy policy implementation and the during the implementation are well analysed, aswell as the problems of state student model and the causes of the problems. Once againintroduces the typical foreign college student mode which includes, help the loan withthe student model, reward and loan styled model, mixed financing model, and analyzesthe feasibility of reforming state student model in China. In the end, my opinions ofimproving the educational pattern of our country, respectively from the basic.construction, consummating the specific measures to help students, and suggestingon how to strengthen the fund construction.
