Wushu has a long history, has a long history. Wushu is a historical process in the vast,after many people work hard and the formation of the Chinese broad and profound culturalsystem. It contains, assimilation of the Chinese nation on the study of human life and manycivilized fruit. Martial arts as the real curriculum in school for nearly a hundred years ofhistory, but the development of school Wushu is not ideal, the serious shortage of wushu.To understand the current primary and middle school Wushu education, this research willbe the Jurong city school martial arts education as the research object, the researchmethods of literature, interviews, survey method, mathematical statistics and other factors,the present situation of Wushu education in elementary and secondary schools in Jurong,analysis, study. Studies suggest that:1. To open in Jurong city and the martial arts class isnot ideal,23primary and secondary schools in the study,3schools have opened specialmartial arts, martial arts have included12school physical education,8schools have nomartial arts class. In the teaching mode, special martial arts schools all adopt the singleteaching mode, physical education is included in the martial arts school mainly uses acomposite type teaching mode. In the teaching material use is mainly the "sports andhealth", edited less. And the teaching content too much emphasis on Wushu routines, thelack of traditional etiquette, cultural connotation of national spirit, educational content;teaching methods are still traditional teaching plan; teaching evaluation is not scientific;unreasonable. II. Jurong City elementary and middle school students in the way of martialarts understanding, mainly is to understand Wushu through film and television works andmartial arts works, through the martial arts martial arts students understand the relativelack of. The way to learn martial arts, martial arts education in schools of the audience,martial arts school is the main study approach.③. Jurong City, the students learning motivation preference performances or competitions, the junior middle school students’Learning Motivation Preference enriched after-school life, physical fitness, and highschool students learning motivation preference self-defense, rich after-school life, physicalfitness.4. Wushu teachers in primary and secondary schools in Jurong is mainly composedof general physical education teachers, the external martial arts teacher, professionalmartial arts teachers served as martial arts teachers, less. Martial arts teacher in-serviceeducation is mainly staff training and education, and education and off the job training isrelatively less. And the labor intensity of the martial arts teachers, low research capability.⑤. Jurong education investment, the construction of teaching facilities and teachingequipment can not meet the needs of teaching. But with the advent of the information age,the schools in order to improve the teaching quality, increase the investment of informationtechnology infrastructure, information technology facilities can basically meet the needs ofteaching. The primary and middle school students in Jurong city. The parents to Wushuless understanding, not many people practice wushu. And the vast majority of parents donot support their children to learn martial arts, want their children to learn Taekwondo, ballgames, sports dance project.
