According to our investigation, we found that, with relatively good humanistic environment in Jilin Province, has a relatively good boxing club and boxing training base, as well as excellent boxers and profound mass foundation; the sports venues to meet the needs of the elective courses in boxing, related equipment and protective facilities also need to be further improved in the boxing course teaching; teachers of colleges and universities in Jilin province can basically meet the opened a boxing course, but need to continue to develop better and more for the majority of the boxing teaching team in Colleges and universities in Jilin province; college students for opened a boxing elective courses support degree is higher, and shows the ideal course intention and correct selection objective. But there are still many students lack of comprehensive understanding of the correct boxing.For it, we put forward some suggestions to courses, has carried on the preliminary planning and conception, content and mode of development of boxing courses in Colleges and universities in Jilin province. To promote boxing course in Jilin province to carry out, first of all need to promote the development of China’s propaganda and boxing, choose the mode of transmission, improve people’s interest in the sport of boxing, and allow more people to join the boxing exercise. Secondly, universities should attach great importance to the sport of boxing courses, creating a good environment for the course of the opening, and make good use of school resources construction boxing sites and facilities.
