Abstract/Summary:
This thesis deals with some universal problems existing in the current Chinese writingteaching of rural high schools in Hainan province. The writing teaching meet a dilemma thatstudents find it difficult to write while teachers feel it embarrassed to teach. How should theteaching of writing be carried out? What do teachers teach and what students learn? How doteachers teach and how do students learn? How to integrate the teachers and students toachieve the perfect performance? All these questions are worth considering and are to besolved.Based on the three years’ teaching experience in a rural senior high school in HainanProvince, the author have gained more in-depth understanding of the problems in writingteaching from the angles of students and teachers. Thus, the existing problems aresummarized, the causes behind are analyzed, and some corresponding countermeasures areput forward, which all aims to change the present situation of Chinese writing teaching inrural high schools in Hainan province and further improve the students’ writing level withgreat efforts. Also the author hope to provide some ideas for relevant experts and teachers topay attention to the Chinese writing teaching problems among rural senior high schools,making for the reform of Chinese writing teaching in rural high schools. The main researchmethods are experience summarization, interviews and literature search. Through teachingpractice, the author sum up the personal as well as other colleagues’ teaching experiences, andat the same time conduct a lot of communication with teachers and students, coupled with theobservation of the reaction from teachers and students in class, On the basis of the former, theauthor refers to relevant literature, analyzes the problems existing in current Chinese writingteaching practice in rural senior high schools in Hainan Province with scientific educationaltheory, thinks about the various reasons behind, and finally puts forward some effectivesuggestions to solve these problems.This thesis is divided into three parts:The first part puts forward from many aspects the problems of Chinese writing teachingin rural senior high schools in Hainan province: the main five aspects are the rigid compilingof textbooks, the traditional teaching process, teachers and students’ perplexity on Chinesewriting teaching, incoherence between teaching in class and beyond, which makes theChinese writing teaching worrying.The second part conducts specific analysis of the current situation of Chinese writingteaching in senior high schools of Hainan province from three aspects: the teacher factor, thestudent factor, and the external environmental factor, all of which altogether have resulted insuch difficulties in teaching process.The third part, according to specific teaching experience and practice, puts forwardcountermeasures from the teacher’s point of view. Firstly, teachers should adjust their teachingattitude, update teaching ideas, and enrich their knowledge; secondly, teachers should be goodat using a variety of existing resources to train students to observe life, accumulate experience, and develop good habits of doing more reading; Finally, teachers should pay attention toguiding students to consolidate their knowledge on writing, improve students’ writing abilityin terms of modification, and make flexible use of various methods to improve the liven upthe writing class.
