Nationalism since entering the modern society is to produce a kind of important social ideological trend, it has a more far-reaching influence on all countries in the world. In the process of college students as a nationalist an important driving force, today still to nationalism plays a more important role in the development, at the same time about nationalism also to a certain extent, the current university students concept of nationalism. Therefore, this article mainly from the definition of the nationalism, through the analysis of the carding of nationalism development relationship between college students and nationalism and the current problems of nationalism education in colleges and universities, emphatically points out that under the background of the current the necessity of rational nationalism education for college students, and finally put forward how to carry on the rational nationalism education for university students in colleges and universities of countermeasures and Suggestions.
