With the deepening of education reform, teacher professional developmentbecome a core issue of domestic and foreign teachers in the field of educationresearch, and practical knowledge of teachers is an important knowledge base forteacher professional development, and support effective teaching is the mostfundamental knowledge. Since the1980s, research on teachers’ practical knowledgein the field of teacher education has become a new theory of attention. This part ofknowledge is often in an implicit way teachers present in the body, which dominatesthe behavior of teacher education, teaching throughout life and professionaldevelopment of teachers has always been. Currently, the new curriculum reform forknowledge, ability level secondary school teachers put forward higher requirements,the key is to enhance teachers ’professional development of teachers’ quality andability, the core is to obtain practical knowledge of teachers. Both the call of thetimes, or the teachers ’professional development needs, urgently requires attention toteachers’ practical knowledge generation. Thus, the study of high school Englishteachers ’ practical knowledge generated has important practical significance.This paper attempts to discipline from the perspective of English secondaryschool teachers to enrich the study of practical knowledge. Take a case studyapproach to S Middle School, for example, to collect teachers’ practical knowledgeabout the meaning, composition, characteristics, factors and generate the information,through the analysis of the characteristics of teaching high school English, highschool English teacher summed practical what constitutes knowledge, includingEnglish disciplines of knowledge situational knowledge, the teachers ’beliefs,teachers, teachers’ knowledge and teachers reflect on strategic knowledge in fiveareas. On this basis, the use of observation, interviews and analysis of the existingtext for high school English teachers to understand and generate practical knowledgeof the situation conducted a survey to analyze the impact of high school Englishteachers’ practical knowledge generated constraints, combined with the actual school effective path to find practical knowledge generated in order to better promote theprocess of their professional development of teachers.
