Research On The Professional Construction Of College Counselor Team In Our Country In The New Era

Student advisors are an important part of teacher troop in colleges anduniversities. They are the backbone for undergraduates to receive ideological andpolitical education, and the directors to lead students to grow in a healthy way. Atpresent, there are some problems in the advisor team construction, such as unstableteam, unreasonable structure, and unclear responsibility. The key to solve theseproblems lies in the professionalization construction.In this paper, the development status and trend of advisor professionalizationconstruction in the domestic and overseas are summarized. At present, college advisorteam construction in our country still faces many problems: non-professional selectiontendency, fuzzy understanding of the role, weak consciousness of career developmentplanning, insufficient development space, relatively low income and quality, and thelag of the career management system. Therefore, analyzing these problems throughliterature research, comparative research and investigation, to recognize the role ofadvisor, and study the standard of professional ability is important both in theory andpractical for promoting professionalism of advisor team construction. Meanwhile, wecan find the factors restricting the advisor team construction, and combined with theactual situation of colleges and universities, then propose effective ways to solve theproblems. This paper analyzed the present situation of the advisor teamprofessionalization construction in the world, and verifying the current main problemsin our universities by investigating six universities in Tianjin. According to thespecific problems, some countermeasures are put forward. First, perfecting the systemof professional title promotion, to improve the working environment and treatment.Second, positioning accurately, to make responsibility clear. Third, encouraging theadvisors to develop their abilities by themselves. Fourth, innovation of collegeadvisors training system. Fifth, perfecting evaluation system, to optimize the incentivemechanism of university advisors. Sixth, forcing the universities to enhancemanagement mechanism by national policy requirements.The main value and significance of this article are: first, deeply and clearlydefined the relevant concepts and nature in the course of the advisorprofessionalization construction; Second, made comprehensive analysis of the variousproblems in the course of advisor professionalization construction in the new period;Third, put forward constructive countermeasures for different questions, to boostadvisor professionalization construction in the future.
