Interpersonal communication is indispensable constituent part and lifestyle of theindividual in the social life, however, the current situation of college students’interpersonal relationship is not optimistic, properly handle interpersonal problemsdirectly related to their learning and quality of life. Based on Chinese traditionalinterpersonal thought, the western Habermas’s interpersonal theory and Marx andEngels’s communication thoughts, this article analyzes the current situation andexisting problems of college students’ interpersonal communication, then explores thecauses of these problems and solving countermeasures. The author thinks it needstargeted ideological and political education on college students to help them solve theinterpersonal problem and improve their interpersonal skills, in order to possess asuccessful future.This paper consists of four parts: the first part is preface of this thesis, this partwill elaborate the social background, research status and research significance ofcollege students’ interpersonal problems; Define the related concepts of collegestudents’ interpersonal communication.The second part mainly introduces the thought and theory of college students’interpersonal communication, including Chinese traditional interpersonal thought, thewestern Habermas’s interpersonal theory and Marx and Engels’s communicationthoughts. Analyzing the relationship between college students’ interpersonalcommunication: Ideological and political education guide the construction of collegestudents’ harmonious interpersonal relationship, and the college students’ harmoniousinterpersonal relationship is helpful to the development of ideological and politicaleducation.The third part combines questionnaire to analyze the present situation andexisting problems of college students’ interpersonal communication, then, I willanalyze the reasons that causing current college students’ interpersonalcommunication. In this paper, I mainly use the method of questionnaire investigation,and case analysis. Firstly, I make a questionnaire survey to undergraduates in TianjinUniversity, and summarize the current situation of college students’ interpersonalcommunication. Secondly, I will find out the main problems of college students’interpersonal communication based on the data analysis of the questionnaire. Finally,I will analyze the causes of the problems from two dimensions:the subjective andobjective, the subjective reason is primarily differences of Ideological level and personality, and differences in personality, interpersonal communication andcognitive deviation; Objective mainly deals with the change of living environment,the differences of culture and family background, school moral education formmechanism, the negative influence of network culture, the influence of the socialunhealthy style, etc.The fourth part explores the countermeasures to solve the problem of the currentcollege students’ interpersonal communication from the perspective of ideological andpolitical education. This section includes two pieces of content. The first piece putsforward to the basic principles of interpersonal communication to guide collegestudents, including equal exchanges principle, the principle of reciprocity and mutualbenefit the principle of tolerance, and the principle of honest and trustworthy. Thesecond piece discusses the specific measures to solve the current college students’interpersonal. First of all, strengthen the teaching work of ideological and politicaleducation theory course. Second, try to combine multidisciplinary with ideologicaland political education, cultivate college students’ interpersonal skills. Again, form awhole force of ideological and political education from family, school and society.Finally, optimize college students’ interpersonal communication environment.
