The purpose of the new high school curriculum reform is to improve eachstudent’s scientific literacy, and the core of chemical scientific literacy is the basicchemistry concepts. Energy concept is the core concept in middle school chemistrylearning, which is throughout the middle school chemistry teaching and study.However, there is a little research on how to construction the energy concept for theMiddle school students.This paper mainly discusses the value of the chemical energy concept inchemistry learning, the contents related to the energy concept, the teaching strategy inconstruction energy concept and the practice. These should be helpful for thechemistry teaching.This paper focuses on the theme of the chemical energy concept of the middleschool students and it is divided into several parts:Firstly, the basic connotation, the characteristic, the value concept of energy aredetermined through literature review and theoretical study, and the relationship areexplored between basic connotations.Secondly, different stages of energy on the basic level of understanding areanalyzed according to the content of middle school chemistry curriculum views ofenergy carrier carding.Thirdly, the teaching experiment of high school students existed energy conceptformation is implemented through the questionnaire survey, the conclusion is that thechemical energy concept for these students in grade3in high school is relativelyweak. Fourthly, according to the survey results and theoretical research, in view of thecharacteristics of chemical energy, the opinion of secondary energy outlook strategytraining construction is put forward and practiced by teaching research.After the experiment, teaching reform is estimated through questionnaire andtest analysis. The results show that after the teaching experiment, students’ chemicalenergy concept level and test scores are significantly higher than those before theexperiment teaching. Therefore, it is effective for the teaching strategy designed inthis paper.Finally, the problems existed in this paper are discussed, which could providesome references to further research and practice.
