A Study On Cultivating Model Of Outstanding Software Engineers’ Practice Ability

As the new century coming, software industry has made a greatprogress in china, which is changing the world software industry structure.However, our country is not a powerful country in software industry. Aswe all know, the competition among software industry is controlled bytalents, and the talent competition depends on that of education, moreexactly, on that of the education reform. Now, the rapid rise of oursoftware industry urgently is in urgent need of higher engineeringeducation reform. The cultivation of excellent engineer in China wasofficially initiated in2010. The large-scale higher engineering educationreform in the new century puts forward new requirements on educationalteaching. But, there are many problems to be solved especially. Forexample, how to improve their practice ability for outstanding softwareengineers or set up innovation talents training pattern.By applying literature, questionnaire survey and case analysis, thethesis briefly introduced the cultivation of excellent engineer and thecurrent situation of higher engineering education reform, analyzed thepractice ability connotation of software engineering. Meanwhile, weexplored cultivating model of outstanding software engineers’ practiceability by introducing the current situation of software industry and thetraining of software engineering practice ability in domestic andinternational and learning the foreign successful experiences.The study was divided into seven chapters. The first chapter was anintroduction, mainly on the research background, significance, andoverview of studies in domestic and international, research ideas,research methods and thesis framework. The second chapter covered therelative notions of the training of software engineering practice ability.Such as outstanding engineers, software engineering practice ability,higher engineering education, cultivating model and engineeringinternational accreditation systems. In third chapter, the present situationand valuable experience of cultivating model of outstanding softwareengineers’ practice ability in international were analyzed. Specificallyspeaking, we mainly described MIT, University of Waterloo and StanfordUniversity. The fourth chapter basically analyzed the actualities and existing problems of software industry, software talents and cultivating ofoutstanding software engineers. Based on the actualities and existingproblems of cultivating of outstanding software engineers’ practice ability,the fifth chapter introduced the cultivating model of outstanding softwareengineers’ practice ability. Taking School of Computer Software, TianjinUniversity as an example, the sixth chapter implemented research. Finally,the seventh chapter was the conclusion, which summarized and analyzedcontent of the research.
