In Chapter 2 Strategy Goal and Theme, An Outline of National Educational Reform and Development Plan of Medium to Long Term (from 2010 to 2020) points out that we should lay emphasis on improving students’comprehensive abilities in such areas as learning, practice, creativity and teach them how to master the skills of obtaining knowledge, how to work independently and think critically, how to do things and be moral citizens, facilitating students to adapt to the society actively and create a wonderful future. With the development of new media technology, to achieve the goal mentioned above, there will be higher requirements for teachers in terms of teaching efficiency and proficiency. One of the requirements of teaching reform is to start a comprehensive transition to digital news curriculum. So it is worth studying to improve the feasibility of using microblog interactive teaching as a means of new educational technology in the transition to the digital news curriculum.At present, in the United States, network platform is widely used in some courses in the university. Take the University of Massachusetts Boston as an example, network platforms such as schoology, Wiki, blackboard are used in more than 60% of educational administration courses. Through these network platforms, students are able to obtain more reading materials and do discussion online and have interaction with each other in the group. With the teachers’assistance, the students learn in various ways including discussion-based style and exploration-based learning style. These successful teaching and learning experiences are worth learning from. However, it is not quite convenient for those who are not good at computer. Therefore, the author chooses microblog interactive platform which has similar functions to the network platforms in the United States as a research interests.The author did an investigation on one of University, and found some situation and problems in the teaching strategies in News Writing courses. In addition, the author did some literature review on the Microblog Interactive Teaching strategies in the News Writing courses, and concluded the situation and some important problems in China. And then, according to the Interactive Teaching, Distributed Cognition, Constructivism theory. this research analyzed the Wiki platform teaching in University of Massachusetts Boston. This research applied some of their successful experience to the Microblog Interactive Teaching. Finally, the author pointed out some strategies to improve the Microblog Interactive Teaching techniques in News Writing courses in university.
