As the future of the country, students’ individual ideal and belief largely affects the length of their life and the pace of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. College students are energetic and vigorous. They have a high passion for new things. College students, during the period of youth, learn seriously, and strive to achieve their goals of life and contribute their power to the future of the motherland. Since our society entered into a transition period, the socialist market economy developed rapidly, and our country also entered the new time of socialist modernization construction, with all aspects, such as politics, economic, cultural and so on, ushering into a new situation, bring up the new opportunity for the students’ personal ideal. But we should also pay attention that the improvement of living standards will often brings the change of ideological concept. The development of economy and the progress of the culture provides opportunities, and challenges at the same time, for college students. leading to many problems of college students’ personal ideal in the new era, such as personal ideal lost, utilitarian, vulgar and so on.Therefore, in-depth study of college students’ personal ideal changes of transition period, and strengthening the education of personal ideal and faith, and guiding college students to establish scientific personal ideal is particularly necessary and urgent.This text is mainly divided into three parts.The first part, it expounds the connotation, characteristics and the importance of college students’ personal ideal. Compared with other people, college students’ individual ideal has the same characteristics, but also has different characteristics, being embodied as autonomy, the times, plasticity and perception. Correct individual ideal, for self-development of college students, can provide power for the healthy growth of college students,and provides guidance for the occupation development of college students, and establishes yardstick for moral development of college students.The second part, it focuses on the analysis of the performance of college students’ personal ideal changes in the transition period, and deeply studies the reasons of these changes from different angles. Since implementation of reform and open-up, the college students’ individual ideal has obvious difference from the past, there being positive changes and also negative changes. The positive aspects includes that college students treat individual idea more rationally, pay more attention to self realization and realize individual ideal in more diverse forms. In general,college students’ individual ideal of he transition period has shown a good trend. The negative aspects includes that college students’ individual ideal is fuzzy and confused, utilitarian and vulgar. College students’ practice ability of individual ideal is weak and their individual ideal lack strong spiritual support. These changes did not happen by accident, but are closely related with the era background, when China entered the transition period. This text mainly analyzes from four aspects. Firstly, the information network strengthening the challenges of emerging media. Secondly, cultural diversity highlighting the conflict of value choice. Then, secular life deepening the corrosion of consumerism, Lastly, popularization of education increasing the reality pressure of employment.The third part, facing many changes of college students’ personal ideal in the transition period, the text uses relevant theories comprehensively to solve the dilemma and problems of college students’ individual ideal and belief of transition period from multiple levels and multiple aspects, guiding college students in transition period to establish a correct, scientific individual ideal. This text mainly discuss from four aspects. Firstly, we should adhere to the socialist core value system education to improve scientific of students’ personal ideal. Then, we should practice individual ideal in the reform of torrent to enhance the effectiveness of college students’ personal idea. Lastly, we should pay attention to faith education of college students’ personal ideal to maintain the firmness of scientific personal ideal.College students of the transition period are in a new era background and social environment, so their ideological concept, value orientation, personal ideal has significant difference from former students. Marx’s philosophy insists the view of material determines consciousness, then we cannot use the previous method or path of personal ideal and belief education to guide the students. The research of this text, starts from the real practical situation, according to the characteristics, current situation and problems of college students of transition period, analyzing the hidden reasons of these changes, exploring new effective methods and ways, strengthening college students’ personal ideal and faith education.
