The level of hearing-impaired students’ reading comprehension is overall low, an important reason is that the consciousness to use strategies for reading is insufficiency, and the capacity is low. Organization strategy is to process text and form an organization chart; Outline is to give the main content of the text in the form of framing. As reading tips, the organization chart and outline will help the reading. By comparing the conditions of students’ reading comprehension level under the organization chart, outline, and no tips, to explore the three reading tip’s effects on reading. The author chose the hearing-impaired students in grade 6 and the normal students in grade 4, as the research objects, carried on the following three groups of experiments:Experiment 1:Study on the influence of reading tips on hearing-impaired students and normal students. Using 2*3 mixed experimental design, discussing the organization chart, outline and no tips of the three reading tips for two kinds of students’ reading comprehension. Results show that:1. In the aspect of reading achievement and efficiency, the organization chart is better than that of the outline, the outline is better than no tips.2. In the aspect of reading monitoring, the organization chart is better than that of the outline and no tips.3. The hearing-impaired students’ reading scores, monitoring level was significantly lower than normal students, but reading efficiency is slightly higher than normal students.Experiment 2:Study on the influence of both reading tips and article length in hearing-impaired students and normal students’reading comprehension. Using 2* 2* 3 mixed experimental design, exploring the effects of organization chart, outline and no tips for two classes of students’ reading comprehension in the long and short articles’reading. The results showed that:1. Organization chart can effectively improve short article’s reading scores, and superior to the outline and no tips; But to long articles, the effect is not obvious.2. In monitoring and efficiency, theorganization chart significantly better than that of the outline and no tips.3. The deaf students’ reading monitoring is significantly lower than normal students; Short articles’monitor is higher than the long articles’.Experiment3:Organizational strategy training intervention study of hearing-impaired students’ reading comprehension. Results show that:1. Organizational strategy training can effectively improve the level of middle and low reading students’scores, but no big effects on high level student.2. The short-term training on monitoring has a certain positive effect, but not obvious.3. Organizational strategy training can effectively improve the reading efficiency, and among them, the effect on the high level is the largest, the median times, the low level is minimal.This study demonstrates the effectiveness of organizational strategy, and verifies that the organizational strategy training can improve the level of hearing-impaired students’ reading, providing a certain theoretical and practical basis for deaf schools to use the organizational strategy for reading teaching.
