The eighteenth National Congress of the CPC clearly put forward the socialist core values. It provides people with a scale of right and wrong, provides the guidelines of follow. College Students’ value concept of social decides the future of a society. The socialist core values as the moral principles and values of the contemporary Chinese, provides the better theoretical guidance and better educational content for the ideological and political education of College students. The research on the cultivation of contemporary university students’socialism core values is not only an important task of the education of college students in the new period, but also the inevitable requirement to cultivate and practice the socialist core values.In this paper, the author uses the knowledge and concept of modern ideological and political education, sociology, philosophy and other disciplines. In the socialist market economy and under the background of social transformation, the author has carried discussion and analysis on the cultivation. Based on the characteristics of college students’ moral quality and the development of behavior, the author adopts quantitative research methods, combined with the questionnaire, the analysis of College Students’ values present situation, explore the new way of cultivation.In the introduction part, the author put forward the socialist core values and the problems of college students’ values as the starting point, based on the foundation of the foreign scholars’ theoretical results related to the concept of value, summing up the research on the socialist core values of scholars both at home and abroad. The author had done a preliminary sum about the results of research, the research angle of view. Discussion on the cultivation of Contemporary University Students’ Socialism Core Values.The first chapter has analyze the present situation of College Students’ world outlook, outlook on life, values, and socialist core values, from the side of the college students’ education, and combining with the questionnaire. And then deeply analyze the value orientation, the mental characteristics and the method of education of College Students. On this basis, elaborated it is urgent that the cultivation of Contemporary University Students’ Socialism Core Values.The second chapter made a comprehensive analysis of the students’ values. Mainly discuss the necessity of the cultivation, based on the practical needs. Has take the "three initiatives" as the content of the cultivation. The "three initiatives" is the national objective of value, the social value orientation and modern citizen value criterion.The third chapter pose the path about cultivation. Through the analysis of the theory, combined with ideological and political education, college students cognitive law, summed up the path of he cultivation of Contemporary University Students’ Socialism Core Values. They are cognitive enhancement, value identity, unity of knowledge and action, long-term mechanism. The cognitive enhancement is the foundation, including: the ideological and political class, philosophy and the Social Sciences, network resource, cultural atmosphere, setting up the system of education on socialist core values. The value of identity is the core: to give full play to the side role model, a microscopic point of view influence character by environment, innovative means to make good use of "micro culture". The unity of theory and practice is the key to guide students to apply their knowledge, and promote the students to practice the socialist core values in their life.The fourth chapter is to establish and perfect the mechanism of cultivation. Long term mechanism is the guarantee of cultivation security, to establish and perfect the relevant learning plan mechanism, evaluation mechanism, incentive mechanism, behavior training. The longitudinal covering from learning mechanism in each stage, from the establishment of joint force mechanism of horizontal integration of school, family and society. Take the social practice as the main body of the behavior training mechanism; incentive mechanism to establish a scientific and reasonable evaluation and reward and punishment mechanism.
