As the guidance of social justice, education fairness is the important part of its content. To uphold the education and the benefit of the education is the important feature of socialism with Chinese characteristics as well as the inevitable requirement of social development. Rawls, American famous political philosopher, focused on the problem and put forward the idea of social justice, which is the core of "justice". His theory has had the remarkable influence on the United States as well as the whole world. Based on Rawls’s justice thought, this paper is aimed at exploring the main problems of our country that now exist in the education fairness, through the refinement of the content of education fairness in Rawls’s thoughts of justice. The Marxist theory is taken as a guide to try to put forward the ways to solve the problems. The method of this paper is based on the literature analysis, together with dialectical and data analysis.To improve education fairness of our country, the enlightenment of Rawls’s educational justice is studied in this paper. Rawl’s thoughts of justice, which is profound, mainly concentrates on the education freedom and the equality, the education difference principle, the education fair first and the education compensates. Based on this perspective, the main problems of educational equity in our country are explored, including the unbalanced development of education, irrational allocation of educational resources, and the embedding degree of education. Rawls’s theory of education fairness to improve China’s current education fairness is the revelation of the following four aspects:Firstly, it is advocated the equality and freedom principle to ensure the equal rights of education; secondly, advocate the difference principle to ensure fair education opportunity; thirdly, advocate priority principle to promote the development of education fairness; finally, advocate the principle of compensation for the fair development of education support environment, which has great inspiration and reference for us. The innovation of this paper is mainly reflected in economic investment to promote entrance exam system of the undeveloped area to promote fairness in educational opportunity and regional compensation policy to support the development of fair education environment in two aspects.
