As one of the most important technology field, Computational Science is a discipline which uses senior computational capabilities to understand and solve complex problems. Advanced computational science technology and resources is a great guarantee of science development, economic prosperity and nation security. Computational Thinking, as a vital competence as reading, writing and arithmetic, is an essential skill for everyone in the Information society. Under the requirement of science development, many universities both domestic and overseas have reformed their computer courses in order to develop student’s computational thinking competence, however, in middle schools there are not such courses or teaching focus. As Information Technology course is the best way to develop middle school students’ computational thinking awareness, means and competence, many experts suggested that we should run computational thinking through information technology course in middle school which is directed in some countries. This research is just proposed on this background to analyze the feasibility and effectiveness of combining this theory with high school information technology course through theoretical discussion and practical teaching. This paper points five chapters to discuss the topic. First, it theoretically analyzes the situation of information technology course and the researching of computational thinking both at home and some abroad countries, through which it gets the research’s feasibility. Then, it gives a full description of the school’s situation, including the textbook content and the students, and makes sure that it is practical to carry out the research. Third, based on the former research, it sums up the strategies of the teaching practice process and gives two specific teaching practice cases which runs through computational thinking and includes the whole teaching process. Fourth, by using thinking aloud method, it gets and analyzes the feedback information after a semester teaching, through which gets the conclusion that it is feasible and effective to combine computational thinking with high school Information Technology course both in refine the course and the longtime development of the students. Last, it comes to the summing-up, hoping that there will be more researchers focus on this field.
