The computing educators pay abundant attention to computational thinking when it first introduced.As the reason,Computational thinking is a thinking method to solve problems,is a fundamental skill for creative thinking and innovation ability.As well as computational thinking that helps students to adapt to study and life in the future information society is a necessary quality and fundamental ability.How to develop students' computational thinking becomes a focus for computing educators who live at home and abroad,they have tried to teaching from different aspects such as teaching modes,teaching methods,teaching contents to achieve the aims that develop students' computational thinking.This thesis analyzes present situation of domestic and foreign computational thinking study,domestic study of computational thinking and teaching practice focus on basic computer teaching for universities but foreign study of computational thinking and teaching practice focus on both curriculums especially computer science.It discussed the significance of developing students' computational thinking from some aspects such as information technology curriculum reform,core literacy of information technology subject,embedded value of information technology and the influence of computational thinking on students' ability at domestic.And then,computational thinking teaching is a part of thinking education,thinking education concerns teaching correct thinking methods to students,computational thinking is also teaching a thinking method that how to use basic concept of computer science solving problems to students.The information technology curriculum of middle school is still in the stage of exploration that how to develop students' computational thinking.The research content of this thesis is divided into two parts:teaching design and teaching practice experiment of information technology to develop students' thinking.According to the operational definition of computational thinking,teaching design put forward the teaching design diagram of information technology in the development of computational thinking.The teaching design diagram is based on the research and analysis of the teaching content as the starting point,showing the problems or making the task,combined with the characteristics of students,and matching the appropriate core concepts of computational thinking,then design one or more teaching activities that contain computational thinking,through which the teaching activities are developed some aspects of students' computational thinking.Base on teaching design diagram write the teaching case "Layer and Layer effect" teaching design and with the conventional "Layer and Layer effect" teaching design comparison.Teaching practice experiment,select the students with similar degree of two classes,the two classes set for the experimental group and the control group,After completing the "image processing" content,the students submit their own poster works.The students'summary evaluation consists of two parts:the formation evaluation of the students'normal classroom and the evaluation of the works of the experimental group and the student's work by the work evaluation scale.The results of the evaluation showed that the students in the experimental group were better than the students in the control group in terms of construction,organization,expression,creativity and classroom enthusiasm and activity.A questionnaire survey was conducted on the students in the experimental group,through analyzing the survey results,most students not only understand the computational thinking,but also have the ability to use computational thinking to solve the problems encountered in learning,the students in the process of solving the problem with the peer to learn to communicate,improved the students'interest in learning.
