| Objective:(1)to assess the status quo of Perception of Social Support, Resilience and Academic Motivation of junior high school students; (2)to investigate the relationship Perception of Social Support, Resilience and Academic Motivation.Methods:Using investigation method to obtain 427 valid subjects in Hunan area. The subjects completed a series of tests including Perceived Social Support Scale, Resilience Scale and Academic Motivation Scale.Results:(1)the Perception of Social Support among junior high school students has significant differences on their grades and source place of students, and the difference on gender is not significant;(2) the Resilience among junior high school students has significant differences on their grades and source place of students, and the difference on gender is not significant;(3) the Academic Motivation among junior high school students has significant differences on their grades, but differences on gender and source place of students are not significant;(4)Resilience and Academic Motivation are positively correlated with Perception of Social Support respectively (r=.207, p<0.01; r=.624, p<0.01),and Social Support Respectively is also positively correlated with Resilience (r=.547, p<0.01);(5) for junior high school students, Resilience acts as the partial mediated variable between Perception of Social Support and Academic Motivation, which coefficient of mediating effect is 0.357.Conclusion:the Perception of Social Support, Resilience and Academic Motivation among junior high school students are mainly affected by their grades,and the lowest point appears in third grade. For junior high school students, Resilience is the significant mediated variable between Perception of Social Support and Academic Motivation. Family and school by strengthening social support for junior high school students, to shape and enhance their resilience is an important way to protect and improve the motivation of junior high school students. |
