In 1987, the country returned to the sport of boxing, and rapid development in the next 30 years. Boxing is a set of competitive and recreational sports in one, there are more and more people into the sport of boxing, especially in the 2004 Athens Olympic Games, China has won the first medal in boxing, which Boxing is a breakthrough in the history of our country, the future development of the sport of boxing has played a very positive role in promoting. Cultivation of boxing enthusiasts is extremely important, the issue has become an important factor in the future of the sport of boxing can get development. Students college sports physical, technical and other aspects of quality are better than ordinary college university student, is one of the major groups and produce a lot easier to learn the sport of boxing fans, but also the popularity of the sport of boxing and development of the backbone. At present, China’s sports colleges are starting to carry out teaching boxing lessons, a comprehensive understanding of how the system status quo boxing teaching, teaching boxing to identify problems and propose solutions to these problems is the current policy of the system needed to solve the problem.In this paper, Jiangsu Province, Nanjing Institute of Physical Education, Xuzhou Normal University Sports Institute, Jiangsu University of Science and Technology Institute of Physical Education Physical three institutions for the study, the integrated use of literature, expert interviews, questionnaires, logical analysis and other methods of Jiangsu Province status and trends of teaching the sport of boxing were analyzed to identify the constraints the development of the sport of boxing negative factors. The study found that the three institutions in the process of teaching and learning activities carried out in boxing, rarely start teaching activities for boxing skills and theoretical knowledge, the institutions of the lack of sufficient attention to the sport of boxing, is not reasonable to set the course, did not pay attention to the sport of boxing the introduction of equipment and materials, resulting in the presence of the sport of boxing school facilities imperfect condition. Proposed strategy for promoting the sport of boxing in the sports institutions to carry out the above problems, and proposed countermeasures for the future development of the sport of boxing, the popularity of the sport of boxing is the sport of boxing, so that more people involved in the sport of boxing foundation.This study is divided into four parts, the first part of the preface, analyzes the background of the issues raised, the significance and the major role in the study of the sport of boxing, and the status quo as well as domestic and foreign research and development of Boxing in China were reviewed for the study conducted to provide a theoretical basis. The second part of the study were analyzed in the study and the research method applied is described in detail. The third part of this part of the paper focuses primarily on the results of the study were analyzed in terms of teachers construction, the basic situation of teachers, curriculum and implementation arrangements, student learning and boxing lesson infrastructure and so carried out a detailed study analyzed three boxing Course in Physical Education Institutes status factors, and proposed to promote the sport of boxing colleges teaching the main strategy. Thus, promote the teaching of students in technical and tactical combat in their improvement and theoretical level, provide the impetus for the development of boxing, provide good support for the popularization and development of the sport of boxing. The fourth part of the study summarizes the development of boxing sports colleges and teaching suggestions.
