| Research purposes:This studying maining uses the body composition measurement and evaluation technology as well as the method of epidemiological investigation and statistics theory, and be based on fat% which ues the bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) technology test and reflect the overweight and obesity risk factors which ues blood pressure and blood index. This is the first time to try to use the receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC curve) analysis method to make the elderly oerweight and obese evaluation standard. Increasingly, trying to use the method of ROC curve to make the standard which the older people are different age, gender. So that, it can directly and accurately reflect the characteristics of their health (underweight, normal, overweight, obesity).Methods:We select male 271, female 271, total of 587 people who are 60 or over older people in Beijing as the research object. Experiment is divided with two stages:stage one,587 old people test the fat% which use the BIA technology to test body composition and weight, height which are the national physique healthy standard. In order to make the standard of oerweight and obese evaluation and study the method of it t do preliminary research; stage two, in the crowd,80 men and 116 women were randomly selected for the second part of the research, then collect the blood, blood pressure to analysis the relationship between the correlation of various risk factors and fat%, between the risk factors and fat%, in order to ensure the method of ROC curve. To make the point of different gender, age, overweight, obesity by the ROC curve method with the data.Results:1 body composition index can be used to evaluate the health, and relate to the movement, disease, physical activity. There are three index of BMI, waist and hip ratio, fat% to evaluate standard of overweight and obesty. Fat% of them were the most scientific, and be set different standards all over the world.2 Fat% had a significant gender difference in the group of 60 ~ 69 years, and had no gender difference in the group of 70s.There were no age difference between 60 ~ 69 years’group and 70s’group. Hence, fat% had a age difference in man, but women no.3 The men and women appear the highest proportion of two risk factors, the lowest proportion of five risk factors. Indirectly it shows most of the older people suffering from diseases by the two risk factors.4 Through the analysis of ROC curve, we got the science point on the specific degree, sensitivity and ROC curve distance, and make the standard of different sex, different age.Research conclusions:1 BIA can be used to evaluate the elderly overweight, obesity, and man’s fat% had difference between 60-69s group and 70s group, women’s fat%.2 Got the point of normal, overweight, obesity. There are 19.85%,32.80% in 60~69s group of men,25.15%,30.9% in 70s group of men, and 33.25%,39.40% in the 60s group of women.3 ROC curve can be applied to make the old method to evaluate standard overweight and obesity by the fat%. |
